Introduction #
The Login Options module allows administrators to configure which authentication methods are available for users on the captive portal. Multiple login methods can be activated simultaneously, providing flexibility based on user needs and security policies.
By enabling different authentication options, organizations can allow guests, employees, or event attendees to log in using the most suitable method for their access requirements.
Configuring Login Options #

-
Navigate to Sign In Administration > Login Portal > Login Options.
-
A list of available authentication methods will be displayed.
Step 2: Activate Login Methods #
-
Toggle the switch next to the authentication method(s) you want to enable.
-
Multiple login options can be active at the same time, except for Event Access / Splash Redirect, which disables all other options.

Step 4: Save Configuration #
-
Click Update Settings to apply changes.
-
The configured login options will be immediately active on the captive portal.
Important Considerations #
-
Multiple login methods can be active at the same time, except when Event Access / Splash Redirect is enabled.
-
Users will see different login tabs based on the enabled methods.
-
Selecting a default login method determines which tab appears first when users connect.
-
Authentication methods like RADIUS, SAML, and Self-Provisioning by Email require additional configuration in their respective modules.
Summary #
The Login Options module provides full control over which authentication methods are available on the captive portal. Administrators can enable multiple login methods, ensuring flexibility for different user groups while maintaining security and access control. 🚀
