The Network Services section in the admin portal offers powerful tools for monitoring and managing both DHCP services (when using the Service Gateway) and Meraki-based environments. The interface dynamically adapts depending on the backend system in use.
DHCP (Service Gateway) #
When the Service Gateway is enabled, the DHCP Statistics dashboard provides detailed insights into IP address usage across all configured sites.
Overview Cards #
At the top of the page, four high-level metrics are displayed:
-
Sites: Total number of DHCP-enabled sites.
-
Leased: Number of currently assigned IP leases.
-
Active: Number of leases in use (active clients).
-
Probing: Number of clients in the DHCP probing state.
Site Listing #
Below the statistics, a searchable and paginated table lists all DHCP scopes (sites), showing:
-
Site name and associated subnet
-
Number of IPs leased
-
Lease limit (maximum allowed)
-
Whether Option 114 is enabled
You can click on a site to drill down into individual lease details.
Site Detail View #
For each site, you can view:
-
Network information (subnet, gateway, IP range)
-
Lease statistics including scope size and current utilization
-
Lease list including:
-
IP/MAC addresses
-
Hostnames (if known)
-
Lease expiration
-
Provisioning type (e.g., self provisioning, whitelisting)
-
User identity or signup method
-
Status (active/inactive)
-
Search & Audit Tools #
Four tabs at the top provide advanced functionality:
-
Sites: Return to the full site list
-
Search by IP: Find lease information for a specific IP address
-
Search by MAC: Locate a device using its MAC address
-
Lease Audit: Full lease event history with start/stop timestamps, searchable by MAC, IP, or time range. Audit results can be downloaded if the dataset is under 30,000 records.
Meraki Integration #
When Meraki is used instead of the Service Gateway, the Meraki Integration page displays real-time data about your Meraki-managed access points.
Site Information #
Each Meraki access point includes:
-
Device name and MAC address
-
Last seen timestamp
-
Number of currently connected clients
-
Last login time
-
Number of historical logins
Expanding an access point row reveals:
-
Connected client information (IP, MAC, manufacturer, OS)
-
Connection metrics such as signal strength, connection speed, and channel
